Haggis Rampant and several of their piper friends boarded the ferry during the Louisiana Renaissance Festival 2011 in order to play a variety of bagpipe tunes as they crossed Lake Albright to the Village Common. "Bagpipes on the Water" went over very well with most of the audience --- save for one French nobleman, who pulled out his knife and attempted to cut the hawser necessary for bringing the ferry safely to shore! Fortunately, good English hemp made in Bristol (UK) proved far superior to French steel made in Paris and his nefarious plan was easily thwarted!! View more RenFaire pics and videos at ryleh.org
