This is how you set your FMC. Just follow the step by step. and if your panels seems blank as the begining of my video. its because the APU is off. soo start it and leave for atleast 1 minute before you start programming the FMC. and once the APU is on you will know this because the light will turn on. it should be called the APU Gen and BUS OFF. when that blue light is on. click the two GEN switches on and you should here a click and the dials should flick up quickly.
when you start up FSX Make sure that you DO NOT make a flightplan. Make sure that your flightplan is empty. so then start up witht the wilco 737 of your coice. and open up you FMC. then following the steps:
1.CLR
2.POS INIT
3.Enter 'ICAO'
4.Ref Airport
5.Route
6.Origin
7.Request
ok after the 7th step, the FMC should say 'FlightPlan is Empty'. if it says 'Can Not Load Plan' then you have to restart, everything again. So if you got the 'FlightPlan is Empty'. THEN you open a flightplan. When you've opened the Flightplan, on the FMC type in the ICAO of the current airoprt. DO NOT change the page or anything. Once you've typed in the ICAO click on the ORIGIN button again. then follow as below:
8.Request Route
9.Activate
10.Route Save(click x5, so the FMC remebers it the next time. and if you fly the same route next time you wont have to go open a flightplan when your at gate you can open a flightplan at the start.)
11.PERFINIT
12.EXEC
13.DEP ARR
14.DEP
15.Choose Departing Rwy
16.EXEC
17.Route
18.PERFINIT
19.Enter Gross Weight and the ZFW should be entered automatically.
20.Enter amount you have for Reserve
21.Coast Index(enter something between 30-35)
22.CRZ ALT(Max Cruise Altitude is FL370)
23.EXEC
24.N1 LIMIT
25.Takeoff
26.Double Click V1, Vr, V2(only double cliock if there are V speeds next to the buttons. if not then enter the V speeds yourself)
27.VSPDS OFF
----------------------------------------
Now you fully set to go. this is only for departue. i still havent figured out how to approach properly and land properly. im still experimenting out that. so please be patient unless you know how to.
so have fun flying your 737 in FSX with EASE!!!!!!
please do rate me and gimme some comments. and sorry for sound my Fraps wont record sound.
and 1 more thing. when you crusing and nearly arrived and your planning your approach. click on the first button of the FMC far left 1st row under the screen. and you should see some spped. choose one of them as your landing speed so the FMC can figure at when to descend and slow down. and make sure you update the rwy position. you should see it on the same page as the VREF and update the rwy position otherwise the eicas will show rwy in front of you when really is to the left or right. and when the FMC says Drag required its not the flaps. you have to deploy the spoliers full. and the fmc will figure out how much 2 really use.
i have a question how do u get this fmc,i mean is it an addon that comes alone or that comes with an addon aircraft,if its like that can u give me the link, and can u activate it from deafault fsx aircraft,,,please helpppppp me

well you have to buy this addon. there isnt any activation for the default 737. go to google and type in wilco 737. and then you can get to their website and purchase it from there.

if u have time or energy, would u please take a looka at this? and how do u read it properly? im about to program the FMC right now, oh another question, does the fmc calulate wich altitude u get for each leg or do u type it in when getting instructions from ATC for departure? i mean the values ATC gives u must be ealy legs and then is it one or more than one altitude they give u until u have to contact center?
FrameFreaks88 2 years ago
yh the fmc does program the altitude itself. when the fmc says you should be at a lower altitude dont get paranoid. jus reset the mcp to the altitude on the fmc. and on the pfd you should see a T/D(time of descent)that is when the plane will start decending.

oka so if i want to align the aircraft with a desired runway i wanna land at o wich runway ATC guides me to how can i find stars that make the aircraft lining up with the ILS runway i wanna land at? did u understand my question?
FrameFreaks88 2 years ago
well you can get charts from other website. but the thing with atc is that they dont give you stars. they do sometimes like when i declared a missed appraoch. otherwise they just give you a runway. but i wold a runway of your choice and they'll get you lined up with the runway. or if they give you a different appraoch to they one you chose then you can easily change it with the fmc.
