Just like the name suggests Suomi or suomisaundi first developed in Finland. A unique style of psytrance Suomi is basically psytrance with no limits and crazy ideas. Suomi psytrance varies in tempo and mood. Some tracks are full of happy melodies and slower beats, some others are dark insane music. The percussion is usually most organic than other psytrance styles and there's great dose of humour both in their tracks and in the names and album covers. Jazz elements are also very common minus the sax.
Although the majority of Suomi is produced in Finland it's not a rarity for other countries to produce suomisaundi as well.
A great music filled with hippie attitude.
