Basic Configurations (Axiom 49 and/with FL Studio)

First of all... MY ENGLISH SUCKS :S (you will notice about it)... and well...

This is a Tutorial showing the basic configuration for the M-AUDIO Axiom 49 and the way you can use it with the FL STUDIO...

hey thanks very much for this, but the zone and group buttons only work for the first 9 instruments. how did you manage this?

@EfiL4ReNoTs91 Hi bro, Its a problem to deal only with 9 instruments... so I make my choice for selecting 9 instruments... in the worst case I map the keyboard and put the LAYER instruments at the top...

With the + and - buttons I remember you can go through different instruments but it won't be the same... (I use FL STUDIO less and less as I moved to mac :S... there's no FL STUDIO for MAC =( )

Very nice video, thank you for the tutorial... I did understand you the whole time :), your english is not bad at all, it's as good as mine :).. the only confusion was that your video camera didn't focus all the time, and that made it a little difficult to understand what you were doing, but nice video though :)

@triclops8 after 5 years of using the axiom I had problems with the sliders... they started to make false contacts so they marked random values even if they stay without touching... if you can buy realtime response knob controllers then buy them... Axiom 49 has no realtime response knobs so a fast twist can be a 0-100% and a slow 360º twist can be a 0-15%... so its very uncomfortable... Avoid slider controllers... they are cool but they can break themselves easily... good day =)

Hey i got a question I'm planning on buying this piano but iv'e seen a lot if videos tht have the piano connected to their mac to power it,do you need to have a mac to power the piano?

Tío, acabo de pillarmelo. Estoy mapeando las cosas y tal... pero los de REC, play etc, no sé como mapearlo, pues si hago click derecho en PLAY por ejemplo, no me sale lo de "link to controller".

@dekzan I only have the Axiom 25, but I assume (like me) you will have to set up the recording/sequencing software too (He shows this). It took me two days to get mine functioning with Ableton Live. Keep at it!

Please, out of the box, can I just install the CDs that come from the factory and start playing or do I have to assign all controls? Also, with the factory CDs, are piano and organs and sounds available or do I have to install every thing? I am not very good with computars, but seem to like the M Audio and the price is not bad. Am I gonna be able to play this thing right out of the box? Thanks !!
