all this videos converting cars to Electric cars is very inspiring! I love reading about inventors from back in the day! and seeing things like this makes me happy! I'm planing on converting my 64 Corvair once I have many available! wish me luck! the engine is similar to the Beatle.
I'm a geek/motorhead and though I like petrol power, the self-sustaining chassis of a bug, good suspention and the huge torque an electric engine can generate... (don't forget brakes!)
The only limit is the batteries, still if you think about your daily commute and make a percentage calculation, then I would still be able to rent a car for longer commutes without spending more money in sum total... (and being able to rent the newest cars year after year :-)
Also, battery development seems to have it's own Moores law- curve which indicates doubling every five years; a new, improved feul tank evey five years? Sounds good... (if the pricing allowes it...)
All in all, the child in me wants to convert one myself, but then again, thats how most 'hobbies' start. :-P
If the U.S. auto manufacturers knew what people want & pay attention to buyers not oil companies stock holders, they would of produced better cars than what they have today.the same old retarded minds are still making mistakes after mistakes suppying cars that extreamly few want to buy.this is what people do for what they want, these are the cars they want, making & converting them, its a very good thing.BIG3 better get their acts together or else...from Iraq El Toro.
If you can't talk, how the F are the idiots going bankrupt at G.M. going to learn how to build the cars we need to use?
Look, even if they are told, the are like a stupid dog eating its own Sh*t. At least right now we have some bail out dollars to work like the rolled up newspaper. We need to be as simple as possible so these idiots will learn something. Take them to kindergarten.
Here is another potentially informative video. But there is no dialogue, no instruction, just pictures and music. I don't care about your TV production skills. And you have the audacity to call yourself "Teach Shop." Please, teach something.
WTF is wrong with people who are building electric cars? The ones who talk, can't talk. The ones who successfully build an example can't seem to open their mouth and tell people how they did it.
you tube forced us to remove original soundtrack because it had copywrited material on it. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have... no secrets here...
