Thank you. I found your video simple and easy to follow. I crochet, but have never made a hat. I look forward to following a crocheting tutorial that I actually understand. Thanks again for your time!

I just want to say THANK YOU for this video. I'm a beginner, and I thought you worked at a great pace and explained things thoroughly. This was probably the 10th video I've watched and the 20th pattern I've tried... and finally, SUCCESS! I can't believe people actually complain about this...
what size hook do you use?

For hats? Usually an H.

I noticed you lose hold of the yarn a few times during this video and thought I'd leave a comment~
You shouldn't work the needle around as much as you do; in fact, it should be held with the hook down and fairly still~ My oma showed me that way, and it works a lot better! It's how they taught it in school back in the 40s~ XD Hope it helps!!

Heh, it's moving around so much because of the angle I'm holding the project at. I'm doing it with my arms wrapped around my camera & tripod ... it doesn't move that much when I'm crocheting normally.
Thanks anyway!
