EsteamWork Kilimanjaro Coffee Project '05 (9 min.)

This is the original footage of the very first EsteamWork learning journey, dated November 2005.

A coffee co-operative at the base of mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, exports arabica coffee to European and American markets for about 50.000 associated farmers. Administration and financial reporting is mainly done by hand; computer knowledge is hardly available.

Late november 2005, a team of professionals from the Dutch IT-firm Ordina went to the base of Mount Kilimanjaro to help the coffee farmers professionalize the way they run the business.
