P-47はアメリカのリパブリックにより製造されたレシプロ単発戦闘機である。愛称はサンダーボルト (Thunderbolt) 。

第二次世界大戦当時、P-51と並びアメリカ陸軍航空軍 (USAAF) の主力戦闘機として活躍した。Jug（ジャグ）の愛称でも知られる。空中戦にも強かったが、特に戦闘爆撃機（ヤーボ）として大いに活躍した。アメリカ以外の連合国の空軍で­も使用された。

Republic Aviation's P-47 Thunderbolt, also known as the "Jug", was the largest, heaviest, and most expensive fighter aircraft in history to be powered by a single reciprocating engine. It was one of the main United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) fighters of World War II, and served with other Allied air forces. The P-47 was very effective in air combat but proved especially adept at ground attack. It had eight .50-caliber machine guns, four per wing. When fully loaded the P-47 could weigh up to eight tons. A modern-day counterpart in that role, the A-10 Thunderbolt II, takes its name from the P-47.

1960年--昭和35年のプラモデルメーカー: 大滝製作所. 社長大滝勝氏. 1980年代半ばの倒産後、金型の多くはARII 有井に売却された。(ARII becomes: MICRO ACE). '70年代にジェット戦闘機を中心に発売しており、ドルニエDoX飛行艇などという面白いアイテムもありました

○プラモデルやり始めたのは１９６０年頃～廃業は１９８０年代半ばと、二十数年の歴史。
○創業から廃業まで大滝勝氏が社長を務めていた。本社は北千住にあり、この他に埼玉の庄和町と越谷市に工場があった。社員数は数十名であった。
○廃業後、金型はアリイ・童友社・フジミなどに引き取られ、現在でも販売されているものも多い。

とこんな会社です。
廃業の詳しい理由は知りませんが、資金繰りと聞いたこともあります。

Thanks this was the first 1/48 plane I made after I restart my model making hobby 2 years ago. I stop making model since I start my University student life not until 3 years ago I retired and prepare to take a look of my old hobbies, I stock alot of models which I bought at high school period which included alot of planes of Arii and Airfix.
