Was genuine as Sheik hates this guy in real life, If it was a work, they would have made it much more detailed and a lot more to it than just giving him a slap and just walking away. They would have had a big build up to the face to face, a few words said, maybe make it as if he was about to shake his hand and then pulled hand away and slapped him, also the strength of the slap shows that sheik wasn't too sure what to do and went for a slap not to hurt but to humiliate & make his feelings clear
