Sonic 3 Debug Fun

At the very beginning of Sonic 3 are some pretty peculiar debug objects, one of Sonic surfing and one of a 3d bunch of red spheres, that sometimes shows up spinning around like the special stage.

These two objects can seriously screw up the game, loading the surfing sonic during the intro makes everything skip WAY ahead in distance, making the knuckles part execute on a much farther platform.
The mysterious red spheres screw up the colour palette, turning enemies and rings solid red.

Things get real glitchy.

Oh, and I also enabled "night mode"

how the heck was sega going to fix/check any errors with all that crap going on? heck the whole game looks like an error lol

@Tapil They were probably fully aware of the errors that go on if you do things when you aren't supposed to, like take control of the character this early, haha.

@lozfoe444 Actually, you're right, SEGA's Sonic 3 demo, they actually planned to have Sonic surfing to Angel Island but in the real game, they changed it to this.
