i can really relate to this too.. well what i mean is that i cruise on my sailboat with my family on the maine coast every summer and i have been to rockland, matinicus island, vinalhaven, and a lot of those places many times. the book made me want to get involved with the sailing more and go on a cruise like that where i actually get to sail the boat...i refer to do it on a tall ship though.. anyway.. great book!! ((:

i'm so glad i found this video, i've read the book WAY before watching this, but seeing this video was exciting as well.
it's an amazing book, i love all the characters and how they all have depth to them, you know? it goes so much deeper than sterotypes and whatnot. i can't wait for future novels, better yet, i can't wait for a copy for myself! =)
