@TigerWolfSpirit they don't eat people they just bite kick scratch punch because they just want to destroy you, kinda like they are rabid or something. They can run like normal because they are still alive but I'd classify it as a zombie movie just because it's the same general idea, the remainder of normal people against the rest of the world that's gone to hell
