for all he's a house producer, Armand Van Helden's roots are well and truly steeped in hip hop and it's culture. christ, the bloke got booed off the decks at space, ibiza about 10 yrs ago for cutting his house set short and playing hip hop for the last hour. it makes perfect sense that he would collaborate with a hip hop producer, a massively talented one at that. i don't think A-Trak is hopping on any bandwagon by producing with AVH, i mean who in their right mind would pass up the opportunity?

Dude what the hell are you talking about..
1: Im an audio engineer, I make house music among every other genre, worked for 5 different recording studio's in NYC
2: I've met Armand.
3: He is not known for being a great DJ, let alone being the best in the world, he is known for his classic house tracks, and for being a master of sampling.
4: Think before you write such a dumb comment.
