@filmarques Um PIB maior que em relação a 1979, provavelmente tem, mas em relação aos anos 90, estou quase certo que não tem... Além disso, um PIB, mesmo que fosse menos 5 ou 10% em 1995, representava um drama menor pq havia muitíssimo menos desemprego, o PIB era medido de outras formas (por ex., em 1995, eu mal tinha experimentado a internet... mas isso não era grande drama para mim)... havia menos carros, mas na Dinamarca, com um PIB muito mais alto há menos carros por habitante que aqui, etc.

Well, good to see that so many people like this Portuguese song... I think that Portugal now doesn't actually compete in the Eurovision, since it known it will lose! That's why the songs haven't been great this last 10 or 15 years, I think... This year they actually sent a song there that was almost to tease about the competition. But Spain (sometimes I watch the Eurovision in TVE) isn't either going to the Eurovision to win, for instance... They also know they're going to lose!

@pcapella2005: agora Portugal tem um PIB maior, mas tambem tem uma divida em % do PIB maior e com ainda menos industria que em 1979. Portanto acho q agora ainda esta mais pobre.

Portugal was underrated in many years back in the 80s and the 90s, but in this year, they got a well-deserved top 10 placing.

In my oppinion 1979 was the strongest ESC ever. 6 of 19 brilliant songs in one year!!! Of cource Portugal is one of these 6! BRAVO!!!
