♥ [[O N E Y E A R]] Nothing the same. ♥

Events in order of appearance:
Dec. 13 -- Libby was bought for me but I didn't know it yet
Dec. 25 -- I got Libby as a present(:
Jan. -- March -- I couldn't ride because of the snow and Libby was super spooky so I couldn't ride her in the snow. It was TORTUREEE!!! But we bonded amazingly.
March 23- My first official ride as her owner! She was really naughty and totally spooky, but we worked through it. Somewhere between here and May I had my first fall off of her when she spooked because of a deer in the field -_-
May -- I was just getting the feel for Libby and we were both adjusting. She was a reiner and wasn't used to collection at all. We pretty much just loped around aimlessly.
June 4 -- First day of barrel patterning and summer(: I left for vacation the day after though, so I wasn't happy about that -_-
June 27 -- Libby's first show ever! Just a fun show to get her used to it(:
July 5 -- Day after Libby's 7th birthday, our first ever jumps
August 9- Libby's 2nd show- we took a month or so off from showing to improve -- and we did!!! 2nd place out of 25 for flag race(:
(out of order—oops!)
August 20- improving in western jumping and Libby loved it even more
August 17—first time either of us had ridden English
August 18—we had EqJump come out and help us with our first time English jumping
August 21- NWR Youth show- 3rd in English pleasure after riding English for 3 days!! Lots of other placings too(:
August 29- our first real English show—3 thirds and 3 second places -- we WON open equitation on the flat against my old trainers and people with $40,000 horses!! One of my proudest moments(:
September 3- our first time ever jumping higher than that small crossrail—2' 4"
September 26—we went to a Sharon Camarillo clinic far away at a VERY nice college—didn't go very well since I was the only one under 18, but we learned a lot(:
Oct. 8- our first time actually galloping in a field full out—amazing feeling!!
Nov. 4- one of my favorite riding days—I didn't have my English saddle for over a month and I wanted it back! I got my new pad and girth in the mail and EqJupm came out and helped me. We jumped our regular jump for a while. Then we put all the barrels together as one solid jump. I can't believe it! My horse would do anything for me. Cross country here we come!! Hahame
November 23—We continued jumping and continued to improve(:
December 19—the vicious cycle repeated and now I'm back to loping around in the snow. But on January 1st, be prepared for this to end. All of it. And me and Libby will get a whole new beginning. :D
Yes, I skipped a LOT of important milestones like 3 more shows, our first time jumping a 2' 6" oxer, our first time jumping bareback really high, and more. I put some clips of me riding that were horrible—but that's the point to show you how much we have IMPROVED. So yeah, crit me all you want—whatever. But you can never take away the fact that me and Libby have a bond that can never be broken. I took 8+ falls this year off of Libby, but I'm thankful for each one. They each taught me something- don't hold her back at the jump, don't ride bridleless in the snow, xD haha and many more. Overall 2010 was an AMAZING year, but I think 2011 is going to be a bit better(: JANUARY 1ST BABAYYY(:
