  • Why is this black swan variation different to the traditional one I'm used to seeing? - different choreography and music altogether yet the first variation for the male was the same? I don't follow?

Alina has great potential but I feel she still looks too dangerous when she pirouettes. I get nervous everytime she's turning.

  • This variation of black swan is choreographed by Yuri Grigirovitch former artistic director of Bolshoi Ballet :)

  • Alina was amazing here. I prefer this version of swan lake with her.

  • Somova is such amazing here. I'd love to see her in many different choreographies, like this, it's good experience. Thanks for posting!

  • what happend with her?does she have an other mentor?her arms are really beautifull and indeed her extensions controlled! I really wasn't a fan of her ,and I never could watch the entire dance... but now she has the grace, and flexability like zakharova, and the arms looks like( the best ballerina ever for me than) ludmilla semenyaka,I really could believe she trained her!bravo mme somova, and I am sorry for all the negative comment before, now we can see everyone deserves a second chance!

  • So proud we've got this talent at the Royal Ballet

  • Not as good as Semionova, but better than I'd ever hope to be!!!

  • @bobibo2007

alina somova isn't half as good as polina semionova

  • so ur saying that a thinner woman makes a better ballerina... polina is GORGEOUS... crazy extensions doesnt make a great ballerina!!!
