beyounce cannot do runs like them clark sisters period at all shes needs more vocal traing on her voice and she needs to sing more better she needs to sing ballads or something not everything with a fast danceing beat we need singers not singer people that can carry a tune well dont need a computer program and hance there vocals

@BILLUPS811 ..and again!! She a good artist!! But being great is undeniable!! Like Michael Jackson is undeniably great, so i Stevie Wonder, and Donna Summers, Donny Hathaway, GREAT!! Al Green...GREAT!! Beyonce in my opinion, is like our modern day Diana Ross, ok artist that was given a chance and ran with it!! OVER RATED!! YES SHE IS!! SORRY!! & LADY GAGA!! @BILLUPS811 .. Beyonce is very much over rated!! SERIOUSLY! I don't see anything special about her!! She has a great team of people around her that makes and made sure she stays on top! In regards to the singers that you named...they are A LOT BETTER THAN BEYONCE BY A LAND SLIDE!! I would not compare Beyonce to any gospel singers, but again she didn't even know who the Clark Sisters were untl the Gospel Awards Show on BET couple of years ago, AND SHE SAID IT I DIDN'T!!

@fpratt You can certainly throw out lady gaga but beyonce grew up around gospel, her voice is unique and pretty much flawless. She will be a great if she already isnt. There arent really any main stream artists that anyone can constructively argue thats better than beyonce. I love Jazmine Sullivan, Kim Burrel, Ledisi, Mariah, Karen Clark Sheard, the list goes on. They all are great in their own uniqueness

HOW CAN PPL SAY ONE INDIVIDUAL IS THE BEST when there is no decent competition...When Aretha Franklin was out you still had Patti Labelle around,and Chaka Khan and Donna Summers, and they were each great in their own right..All great singers!! Later on came Whitney, Anita, Celine, and Mariah......you see a pattern right...all great singers..All have range...all even Mariah can hang and hold their own with each other....Beyonce and Lady Gaga doesn't even fit in this line of artist...& I'm RIGHT!!

I remember when I was at college taking up music theory my professor who is a opera singer always said she never understands how a gospel singer has so mush wind and range and they can belt out notes and then not even have issues with their voice like being hoarse or tired..bcuz it is totally different...So sad that ppl can even voice an opinion this is America ppl...and further more..............

A gospel singer has a very unique sound!! And also just to make this aware to the public... I remember seeing an interview with Destiny's Child after they sang Total praise at the Bet Gospel thingy and she said she never even heard of the Clark sisters or Karen Clark-Sheard and she had just met alot of the Gospel Artist and was completely blown away by The Clark Sisters..so her range was not inspired by them at all...whoever you grow up listening to is who u usually emulate in your own artform

and in regards to Beyonce's voice...no one said the chic couldn't sing...WHAT I DID SAY IS THAT SHE IS NOT ON THE SAME LEVEL AS THE CLARK SISTERS, or Vickie Winans, or Kim Burell, or Cece Winans, or Vanessa Bell Armstrong, matter of fact NO GOSPEL SINGER!! She is all a bunch of hype..thats it!! She an ok singer who has no range AT ALL PERIOD!! Maybe you should have read the other comments made before I posted mine and Then make an educated observation
