How many dead U.S. soldiers, and how many dead British soldiers? Or Polish and French internment camp prisoners? I'm not denying we did an honorable thing by getting involved--and I'm still proud of my grandfather who flew planes over Italy in that war--but the whining and back-patting has gotten ridiculous. It undermines their achievements, in my opinion, especially when it's used as a generic godwin to put Europeans in their place. Honor them. Don't use them to say "so there!".
