@upgrad3z It's not scamming and hacking they were trying to stop. It was the credit card fraud, it would cost them money to refund the money back to the rightfull owner, so they got rid of the wild wich basicly took out gold selling for a few years.

That's when I played RS.
I just remember a higher level player taking me out for my first kill.
I ran after this guy who was level 4 and he said "Please, no! I only have patatos, I NEED THEM"
then I said, "Oh well"
and killed him.
Back when I was 13 years old, that game owned.
