just more expensive. you can see another car far before a camera can. Why not let the camera drive the car too? let it read speed limit signs and adjust speed automatically.red light or something in your path? let it brake automatically.

Stop removing the human element from driving. It may be flawed but it is safer to have more people conscious, and alert when they are driving.
