Excellent review once again, one of the best Voice out there. I just ordered a SH8, can't wait, i am sure it will be very handy while on the train and in the toilet etc..

just bought the kohjinsha sh6 xp with 1gb ram, will be arriving soon!
with 1gb ram and 600mhz processor on xp, will it play all sorts of video smoothly, in particular avi??

Since the SH6 uses Vista Basic, is it upgradeable to Premium?
Otherwise, can I downgrade it to XP?
If I'm stuck with Basic, what video viewing software, & codecs, along with picture browser, should I install?
I'm thinking something like VLC Player, or Media Player Classic, along with K-Lite & Real Alternative, as well as ACDSee or Irfan.

Hello, thank you for this very complete review, can you tell me what 2GB memory you use? I see on kohjinsha website that it's 1GB max... I would like to know if I can use my OCZ 2GB DDR2 667mhz (PC5300) on it.

I ordered the SH6 from conics with 2gb memory.. so i dont know which is it.
but yours should be ok..

Thanks for the review.
Will the SH6 get to play any video formats from Real to AVI to Quicktime smoothly?

Many thanks for your review. I'm going to buy one. I did not see clearly on the video but it looks like that the Vista is english version, right? Is it possible to choose languages when you first set up the device?
I ask this because I want to buy one in Korea and for now I'm not sure about the language for OS.

It may have english too, but usually it depends where u buy it..
