  • Mariah Carey WHO, Angela Winbush is a class act, and I love her music

  • One of the greatest voices in my opinion!

I love Stephanie Mills but can she hit them high notes like Angela. And it's not just da highness, it's the length. She is and forever will be one of my favorite singers along with Teena Marie.

  • This is the first time hearing Angela's voice... Whoah I'm blown away, this woman can sing. Now I just need to figure out how to get rid of these goose bumps... Respect

  • @emmettk Thank you. When we people understand that when God made one good singer he didn't stop there, and it is okay to give credit to both entertainers without trying to belittle the other or saying one is much better blah blah blah. Both of them wore this song out in their own way and could sing it live, and we all know not all of our so called artists can do this these days.

  • I LOVE ANGELA WINBUSH. SHE HAS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL VOICE. SHE SINGS LIKE A POWERFUL ANGEL. YOU GO ANGELA. ALBERT E. BLEDSOE.

  • @yesitisme1971 Oh yes, I know that Angela wrote this song. I have pointed out the same thing on one of the boards:)

  • @emmettk AND Angela wrote the song for Stephanie.

  • For once can we appreciate that two powerhouse singers did the same song and both tore it up. No need to dis one when nobody deserves to be dissed. BTW the lady who introduced Angela is the great Nancy Wilson, one of the alltime great songstresses of jazz. If you don't know about her- style and class personified.

  • @TallDawg4 Alton McClain and Destiny did this song before Stephanie Mills.

  • @Screenedit It's on her 1989 album The Real Thing

  • @666deathghost Stephanie Mills recorded first on her 1985 self-titled album for MCA Records. 4 years later Angela recorded her version on her 1989 album The Real Thing

  • I like Stephanie's version much better. But Angela is also a great singer.
