JVC Full HD Camcorder 'GZ-HD3'

BERLIN, Germany (AVING Special Report on 'IFA 2007')JVC는 IFA 2007에서 60GB HDD를 탑재한 HD급 하드디스크형 캠코더 '에브리오 GZ-HD3'를 선보였다.

이 제품은 해상도 1440x1080 HD급 녹화가 가능한 3CCD를 탑재했으며, 60GB HDD를 내장해 MPEG-2모드로 약 7시간 녹화(SP모드)가 가능하다. 코니카 미놀타의 HD렌즈를 채용한 'GZ-HD3'는 기존 모델의 'GZ-HD7'에 비해 크기는 30% 소형화(82×145×75mm)됐으며, 무게는 670g으로 편리하게 휴대가 가능하다.

레드, 블루, 그린으로 포커스하는 포커스 어시스트', 하이라이트 부분을 알려주는 '지브라(Zebra)' 기능도 내장했다. 이 외에도 SD메모리 카드 사용이 가능하며, HDMI, 컴포넌트, S영상, AV출력 단자를 지원한다.

2.8인치 16:9 와이드 터치스크린 LCD를 채용했으며, 남은 디스크 용량과 배터리 수명을 알려주는 데이터 배터리 기능도 지원한다. 녹화한 영상을 DVD라이터 'CU-VD40'과 연결해 DVD-R/RW에도 기록할 수 있다.

the HD7 has a really bad image stabilisator. but the video quality is very good! i also like the manual focus in the HD7 which is build in only the HD7. i got myself the panasonic HDC-HS100 which is really good. watch my videos ;)

my dickie rc boat video was shot with this camera. i had to resize it to 800 kb for fast youtube download. the colors are really good.

I have had no problems installing the CD on an Acer laptop and an Asus desktop computer. Perhaps JVC support team will be able to give you some tips on the cause of the CD freezing and how to overcome it.

gz-hd3u install CD freezes on my 2006 Compaq and my 2007 Dell desktop. What the he**, why won't the CD finish installing?

I have a windows based OP (Windows XP professional edition). I used the software that came with it (Power Director) to transfer the files and do the editing.

Bought one last year but started using it on the 01st January 2008 (this year - 12 days ago). Posted some clips on YouTube that I took using that model. I am satisfied with the opitcal zoom and the video quality on my computer. However it is not showing too well on YouTube. Its performance under limited light conditions is quite a draw back. (Need to consult the manual again as I have not read the full instructions on how to adjust its settings for use under limited light conditions)
