Ok, Ok, Here it is, everyone...how we do our artisan style bread, you know, that one with the crunchy carmel colored crust and the chewy crumb...yum! This bread is so ridiculously easy, anyone can make it.

Here's what you need:
6 cups of flour (I use bread flour vs. all-purpose)
3 cups of water
2 tsp dry yeast (rapid rise or active rise is fine)
2 tsp salt

6 qt Dutch oven with lid (Don't have one that big? You can split this recipe in half for a smaller loaf for a smaller dutch oven. Don't have a dutch oven? You can use a covered pyrex dish or oven safe covered pot instead)

  • Looks delicious - and i will give it a go - good excuse to buy a nice dutch oven too! As a finale, i'd have liked to see you slice and butter it though! Bon Appetit!
