your story could be mine only for me it was a guy (Im a girl) same thing couldnt stand to listen to the song..we used to watch this movie over and over...he loved the song too..I can listen to it now many years later thankfully as well...its just excellent!

This is a fabulous song! Reminds me of a very sad time; the girl I just knew I was going to marry, and then, it fell to pieces. For years, I would cringe when I heard this song, even though I loved it for the sake of its melody, arrangement, and sound. The sadness has vaporized, thankfully, and I can listen to this song and enjoy it immensely now. Cool video; I wouldn't mind riding the horse, but would REALLY love to put the Triumph through its paces! British cars rock!
