The Glenn Miller Arm Air Corp Band was the largest Swing Band ever and used th Highest Fidelity Radio Transcription Recorders and Mics of the day including RCA Ribbon 77 and 44 series Broacast Mics.

Excellent version of a popular hit song.
Glenn Miller could always take a song and make it even better.
Of course, his own original music can't be made better because no one is as good as Miller.

Great period piece, ladyvee, showing how good music could be used to keep up morale in wartime. I've even seen pictures of bombers named after this song.

The Army Air Force Band recordings are very difficult find - and dramatically different from Glenn Miller's earlier repetoire.
This version is actually cut, the intro is much longer and much more decieving in the original.
The AAFB allowed Glenn Miller not only access to full orchestra, but also the freedom to musically experiment without commercial constraints.
