the game is incompatile with windwos xp and others below win 98
you need a emulator to play it
such examples are d2xxl, d2 rebirth, and dosbox

I need help. I loved Descent II and Descent III but when I play it, they screw up. In Descent III, the graphics look unfinished becuase they look like polygons with no texture. In Descent II, everything is alright except the speed. Everything is too fast to the point that my level 1 lasers drain up all my energy in 20 seconds.

I managed to 100% this level. 5 megas and I think 7 extra lives total, plus 12 or 16 smartmines.

A good run, Slade, but you forgot that once the reactor blows two doors open at the base of the reactor room. I dunno if it's possible to collect what's behind both, but it's worth a try.
