School Final Dragon Airbrush

This is on the day of my final. I had to do a fantasy look. This is my friend I had done the blue dragon look for,for halloween. the forehead and nose were done by me, as in molded poured and latexed and hand painted, my creation you will not find them in any store. I'm a beginner at airbrush and I can't find crap on any information that I need. Please help me?

I'm thinking there is something wrong with my airbrush, but I don't know. My paint is mixed with some stuff that makes it more diluted like I'm suppose to, but when I go to paint my skin big flakes of color come spitting out instead of a very fine opaque mist. Then a great deal of the time color doesn't come out at all and spits out on and off. Any ideas or tips to help me out someone?

what type makeup are you using?? what did you use to mix it??

@thewolf9251979 its a stage makeup called Kryolan they have airbrush makeup but you can use their aqua color makeup as well and dilute it with water ^_^
