Today I'm introducing you to the wonderful artisans of Arroyo Craftsman. Arroyo proudly manufacturers from scratch each of its creations in Southern California. With its solid brass construction and wealth of finish and glass options any Arroyo Craftsman lantern will be a cherished item to last for generations. Let's start with two pieces that beautifully display Arroyo Craftsman's broad range both in style and materials. This piece is part of the Berkeley Collection and features a style inspired by the works famed architect Gustav Stickley, who is credited with founding the American Arts andamp; Crafts movement of the early 20th century. The brass rivets and bold peaked roof provide a wonderful accent to the style he founded. While available in nine other finishes, this piece from Berkeley is finished in Arroyo's raw copper treatment, an organic finish that features reds, yellows, greens and blues that will naturally change and gain authenticity over time. The white opalescent glass is a wonderful complement. This next piece from the Huntington Collection brings to mind the early Prairie School designs for Frank Lloyd Wright, a simple angular design and also available in a number of different finishes and glass options. We've selected verdigris patina finish, another organically changing finish to complement the gold white iridescent glass - by far the most popular among Arroyo's glass selections that matches beautifully with any finish.
