On November 20, 2010, I ran the Living History Farms Extreme XC Run in Urbandale, IA with my friends Don Foltz, Sue Busta, Steve and Lindsay Riecks, and Sandra Stone, and about 8,000 others. The temp at the start was a brisk 29F. This year's route included about 5 creek crossings, countless monster hills, and a LOT of mud. In other words, it was perfect!!!
