Your second guess is right, this video has no sound at all: at some point I did find a way to add some background sounds to my tutorials, but these early ones have remained like this...

Oh, don't worry, the mystery is easily explained.
The point is that when I began making these tutorials I wasn't really self-confident in making the steps in front of the camera: that's why I used to do each step off-camera, undo them (that's why, for example, you suddenly see those creases at 1:54), and then re-do them on-camera by following the newly appeared guidlines...
