Astounding! Awesome! I have so many questions!

Do you use a local microcontroller (Arduino?) for servo control or is it possible to use the USB right off the Android to control servos in some way?

Is the camera built into the robot platform (SRV-1?) or are you streaming the camera from the phone over wifi?

What is the cause of the video lag? It's not bad, no worse than most wifi webcams but it'd be great if it could be avoided.

Can it do proportional control of the servos - variable speed?

Allow me to answer in order :)

1) I use the Parallax Propeller micro, largely because this lets me use a better GPS than the phone's if it's available.

2) The phone acts as camera, GPS (usually), compass, accelerometer and radio.

3) The lag is mostly due to the fact that that's not on LAN, that's on 2G/3G!

4) Yes: you can also have up to 10 servos with the current board.
