Somehow I talked two of my climbing friends into taking a rest day to peak bag the Organ Needle (9000 feet). It turned out to be a traditional, classic. Ingraham's guide calls it the Normal Route 3rd Class (scrambling). I highly recommend scratching it before any other peak in the Needle's.
Is this a well known trail? I would like to try it. I had a chance in 1967 or so to attempt a summit but passed on it and have regretted it all my life. See my "Organ Mountains Tribute" on YouTube.....
Thanks for this video.....

@innovationsurvival The trail is well known. Hike to Juniper Junction first and see how you feel. If all's well. The Normal route begins from there and is much steeper. It travels up through Dark Canyon until you reach an obvious saddle. Then follow the trail to a 3rd Class scramble to the top.
