CBS' offbeat correspondent, Bill Geist, became a grandfather 2 years ago, and in honor of CBS Sunday Morning's 30th anniversary, he taped this piece where he gives his daughter the classic "grandfather speech". Y'know, like "when we grew up, we didn't have the internet...." Incidentally, the child's father, Willie Geist, can be seen regularly on MSNBC's morning show, whose name I refuse to mention because Joe Scarborough is a right-wing nitwit (among other things). Check your local listings to see when CBS SUNDAY MORNING airs in your area.
Charles Kuralt's show that is.... Bill Geist is great but the Mr Kuralt would not be happy then again , look at what "they" did to Ted Koppel's show....

I really enjoy watching this show on Sundays, and this segment is one of my favorites. What a wonderful grandpa, and what a lucky little girl!
