In this tutorial, I'll introduce Blender's Multiresolution Mesh capabilities, a bit about what they do, and how to use them.
Multires is, in my opinion, one of the most useful tools Blender has to offer, and it's one of the most simple around!
Catmull-Clark/Simple Subdiv Dropdown:
This is the subdivision type drop-down. Catmull-Clark subdivision causes the shape to blend smoothly together, as shown in this video. Simple Subdivision causes each face to split into 4, the same as Catmull-Clark, but instead of smoothing the shape, it just subdivides them without changing any rotational data, causing a less organically smooth shape.
The only time this dropdown has any effect is when ADDING a multires level, which is why I didn't notice any change from using it. The subdivision type cannot be changed on the fly, like it can with the Subsurf modifier.
@Lester1986 THANK YOU SO MUCH I'VE SPENT A WEEK LOOKING FOR IT :D

Is it possible to add a skeleton to a character made using multries?

This was a very useful lesson indeed. It was great timing as the model I am working on is an organic shape.

Ctrl + Z, as in most programs. ;-)

CTRL+Z, like most programs. Also, undo is based on the mode you're in, Object mode will undo things faster than Edit mode, usually.

ehrm... I always have a "strange question" :D
Maybe I missed something in these great tutorials somewhere, or my problem could be that english is not my native, but so far I do not know how to take back changes.. Any Undo commands, hotkeys or something? ^^
