My Metropolis Remake Trailer

Hello there.

I've not made any vids for a long since I've had a lot to do, but after getting Fritz Lang's 'M' for Christmas, I was inspired to make a trailer for my dream Metropolis remake. This video features two pieces of music - Queen's 'Radio Ga Ga' (it featured Metropolis in its music video and Freddie Mercury performed 'Love Kills' for the Giorgio Moroder restoration) and 'St. Crispin's Day', a piece of music from Patrick Doyle's soundtrack of Kenneth Branagh's Henry V (it can also be heard in the trailers for Branagh's Hamlet and the teaser trailer of Baz Lurhmann's Australia) and features a quick shot from Queen's music video for 'Radio Ga Ga'. Sorry it's not in synch, and if anybody wants it changing, I'll be happy to do it.

Ok, it's been about 2 years now since you first said you've been writing the script, has there been any word on production process?

Could you give us a hint on how the script at least looks? Did you just re-copy the original, did you incorporate anything from the anime version...? Do you have anyone taking interest in the script...? and as someone said on another of your videos, if Spielberg doesn't direct, it really should be Peter Jackson

@ravenstarr30 I briefly stopped writing a while back, but I've recently restarted. And I'm putting a bit of the anime version in there as well. As for everything else, I have to say it is mostly a fan project I'm doing.

@Writerofthebizzarre you shouldn't think so small, Hollywood is in a state of re-make craze right now, so that alone could get you deal. besides, out of all the re-makes, it'd be nice to see something that's older than about 10 years for once. You should finish the screen play then toss it at a few producers (remember than Lion's Gate will take damn near anything), or at least get an agent to do the foot work for you.
