Subaru STI deer hit

Driving home, and a Deer pops out... i hit it lightly and rolls off the hood. IT gets up and runs away!!. not to much damage, mainly the left fender is smashed in, 1 light cover broke... but the hood is fine.
Recorded using a dashboard DVR camera that uses a SD flash card to store video when car is moving.

Deer is a symbol of good luck. Don't see too many deers around my parts but whenever I see one while driving up in the hills I see it as a sign of good luck....well not really but I kind of pretend that it is. But I wouldn't know what to make of it if one jumped out in front of my car and smashed my fender. The ones I see are usually just grazing or watching me drive by. Kinda cool you got that on camera though.

@UR2H - anything that happens once in a blue moon is considered luck, because you are lucky if you see one, like a 4 leaf clover... 4 leaf clovers aren't natural, so if you find one, it must mean you are lucky... all superstition. deer are just in their normal habitat, us humans took over, sort of how the english took the land from the Indians.... sadly for some reason they like to cross the road at night which is when we hit them often... i'm not mad at the deer, just why did he jump on me?

@UR2H - lately i've been having a wave of bad luck, so that deer hasn't brought any luck to this household.

if you got no deer around you, then i can see if you see one you must be lucky. in our area, you're lucky if you don't hit one.. and you're more lucky if you re out hunting and bring home a few instead of just one... there's nothing lucky about a deer. There's more deer around here then rabbits. just wished they slept at night and cross the road during the day so we could see them.

here in socal I see deers alot,not that there are woods or anything because there aren't.Over in the hills where the rich hollywood actors live when it rains from the 405 freeway you can see up close deers on the mountain eating grass or whatever they eat

Too bad the deer was killed by traffic, and not by a hunter. Death would have been quicker & easier for the deer. I guess we should stop hunting deer altogether so we will have more to run out into the road, get smashed, and suffer while slowly dying from internal injuries.

@bacalhau75 Hmmm....well I guess if a deer jumps on your left fender it's bad luck then. I better write this down. I'm just kidding. I'm not a superstitious person or anything, I saw this and was just making convo while keeping it relative. Well I hope your luck turns around, I'm sure it will. And I do get what you're saying.
