@Ansible1000 - ..the side-to-side dance move Donald was doing up Daisey's house walk-way was called the "Suzy-Q" --also a currently popular dance move of the time (1940).
@Ansible1000 - It constantly amazes me how people can make comments here on subjects on which they know absolutely nothing about yet do it with such conviction. If you knew anything about contemporary mid-20th century style you would recognize immediately that the music / dance Donald is doing is Swing (the dance move was called "Trucking") (both conteporary to the date of this clip), though the clothes were about 15 years prior to this, this was to illustrate that Donald was an "older man".
@Fujiarmu I love to say it; Daisy being an entirely different being from Donald, and interacting with him even, disproves that theory. Not to mention this being the only time where her voice mimics Donald's.
Her voice changed a few years after this. Also, considering the dance style, the technology present, and the music present, I think it's to be assumed that this took place in the 90's (the 1890s). THis was often called 'The Gay 90's' because America was just on the up-and-up during this time.
super post.
thank you

I hate to say it, but Daisy's voice just adds fuel to the idea that these female counterparts are just being the male ones in drag.

The lip sync is not good.

Daisy didn't sound much like a girl back then, did she?
