hey this is pretty cool. Can you name the lineup in the band?? I once had a dubious"greatest hits" groovies CD-that when I first heard it I thought was a groovies cover band. later found out they recorded it on that mid 80s tour. Didn,t get to see them on that tour -my brother did from memory. great to see this stuff surfacing. Groovies movie?? awsome

Was the CD an Australian recording called "One Night stand"?

This song was on the Australian release - "Step Up" (AIM, 1991) and was then remixed for "Rock Juice" (National) in 1992.

The version here is probably the Step Up one.

Was lucky to see most of their Melbourne shows during this tour - they recorded a live album (One night Stand) in Oz as well - and embarrassed me by putting a holiday snap of Cyril and me on the back cover....hmmmmm - one night stand was a meal at Totos in Carlton and a lot of heart to heart late night chats...

Hey Mickey101, for your info, Jack was shortish, but totally HOT-- girls flocked his way, I remember one of his erstwhile girlfriend crying over him. A+ guitar player back in SF days...
