My Big 1st Carp Catch (Fishing Lake Elsinore)

My 1st Carp Catch (Fishing Lake Elsinore). About a foot and a half long. Caught (and released) with my home made dough bait made out of corn bread mix (or corn meal) (1 Cup), flour (1 Cup), water (1 Cup) and vanilla as much as you prefer. I havent heard they are the best tasting so I released it.

Bass are tough to catch lately.I havent caught one since April minus a baby striper,also on dough.You can buy it premade,some are biscuits.Other fishermen catch carp on that kind.Back in April,argemouth bass were biting plastic roboworms,typically in purple color,once a camo "creature.I hear they are still biting nightcrawlers early in the morning,though i havent seen it happen lately myself.Crappie bite yellow crappie jiggs sometimes too.

Carp bite dough bait.I make it home made with corn bread mix (or corn meal) (1 Cup), flour (1 Cup), water (1 Cup) and vanilla as much as preferred.You can add garlic & carp,catfish and blue gill seem to all bite it.THough the hook and bait balls should be small for blue gill.
