@pofrani They are attached by four lines to two handles, so to brake you pull back on the rear lines. Do a google search of John Barressi revolution kite for some tru flying skill!

A great video and very entertaining. Location looks to be around the Baron River and Machan's Beach area. Used to live there 23 years ago. Nice area.
