A modified disposable camera circuit demonstrates the spacial energy coherence phenomenon and gives a very nice output from a CFL bulb running on 2.5v. I've mounted it on a battery pack and it makes a nice little night light. I also made one with a reed switch that uses a magnet on the case to switch on.

Right now i am working on the same light with a motion sensor that will turn on when i enter my bedroom or bathroom at night .

  • oh and how many watt is that lightbulb? thanks

  • @SthealthRaider The tube looking bulb is 4 watts. The larger one is 10 watts.

  • i have made one but it isnt as bright as yours howcome?

  • @SthealthRaider Can't say for sure without seeing it. Keep in mind that the camera makes lights look alot brighter than they really are. This is why i turned the lights off and let viewers see how far the light reaches. This is really only suitable for a night light.

  • @Br0kenMan I have made a new one good solderings 8 watt bulb instead of 5 watt MUUUUCH brighter ;) i have uploaded a video of it!

  • @SthealthRaider i just had a look at your light. Nice job ... very neat.

  • @SthealthRaider I havn't tried a 9v source but i would imagine it would burn out the circuit. These camera circuits are only built for 1.5V sources.

  • Can i use a 9v battery? Rlly cheap here

  • Thank you

  • @333xan45 it's a 4watt bulb. At 12V that's 0.3 amps.
