People can't understand when a cop gives you orders to leave or move you better damn well move. They are hired to protect society and have the adequate training to do so. How dare anyone attack a police officer when they work long hours and hard places of danger in our society. I think places here in our cities are more dangerous at times than the streets of Iraq's cities during war times. Police should have used tasers and people who say i'm a racist look yourselves in the mirror

I absolutely agree that women can participate in civil disobedience. It seemed the police were singling out that little kid, and his family and friends were determined to bring him back into the crowd... to go back behind the barriers.

My concern comes with the suddenly escalated level of force used on the protesters half their size. The unarmed young teenage girls that were met with an unnecessary amount of force. And the older women. Facing riot police.

@Krakshot they knew they had to be on the other side of the barriers and they kept pushing the limits. Just because a person is female doesn't mean she can't participate in civil disobedience. Then they compare the situation to Oscar Grant. I didn't see anyone shot in the back of the head while they were face down.  They should have started shooting rubber bullets at those people.
