FYI cupidoke: Baz did not write the words you are quoting. Mary Theresa Schmich, a columnist for the Chicago Tribune, wrote them in 1997. Luhrmann used the column she wrote for his 1999 hit "everyone's free (to wear sunscreen)".
..just on the note of compliments i think they should be payed to the justified recipient..not that Luhrmann's song version is not good..and thanks to him for spreading it to the mtv nation..but mary is the author and should be acknowledged as such

yessss!!! true, sunscreen is not only a good video, the music, the words, the good advice is timeless, one of my favorite songs of all time, and i like a lot of different music. the song helps me take life easier. the words of that song are f***ing poëtry to me
