Karate vs. MMA

Karatecy ćwiczący razem z zawodnikami MMA -- taki widok nie jest zbyt często spotykany. Bo też są to dość odległe od siebie sztuki walki. Okazja do wspólnego treningu nadarzyła się, gdy salę treningową karateków odwiedził mistrz MMA Antoni Chmielewski. Najpierw spotkał się z dziećmi kończącymi Zimową Akademię Karate, potem wziął się za starszych zawodników. MMA to mieszanina różnych sztuk walki, trenujący tę dyscyplinę muszą znać podstawy np. boksu, judo czy kickboxingu.

@1kevin09 Bah, bullshit, in competition Karate, Kung Fu and TKD there are no joint manipulation... The styles of MA's should work without those stuff. Lyoto could use a lot of his Karate in MMA and upset many. About Ninjutsu... it's less effective at all.

@1kevin09 i dont know about that but it doesnt really matter ive never heard of any martial artist fighting full contact building a fight game around ridgehand strikes the reason those arts are popular is theyre very practical but mma is open to any interpretation as long as you can actually fight

@1kevin09 its not that theyre not allowed theres just certain things you cant do like gouge peoples eyes or kick em in the nuts but just a couple weeks ago i saw a karateka knock someone out in the ufc with a head kick so thats bs any style is allowed as long as you dont violate the rules

@Antioxidantt Nope Karate, Teakwondo, Ninjitsu, Kung Fu, isn't allowed in mma because of joint manipulation but mauy thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, Jujitsu, Wrestling, and Brazilian Jujitsu is.
