@thomastmwc By scream I don't mean her singing is screaming. I mean, oftentimes, in order to add dramatic effects, she screams, doesn't she? Well, to me, that hurts.

@luvxl if your reply is meant to be sarcastic, it fails, sorry. Let's compare their ages. Of course everyone starts to lose some high notes when they get to 60 or something, which might be Gruby's case (but c'mon, she doesn't lose 'em till recent years, how old is she now!? SERIOUSLY!?), but more importantly, Gruby's voice is still lucid, instantly recognizable, or even "pristine". As for Dessay, her speaking voice is ruined, as well as her singing voice. She screams too much.
