There were so many Celtic fans that day with fruit its hard to estimate how many had banana's and how many threw them at Walters. The footage in the video in no way highlighted the extent of the abuse that day, the only telling comment was from Archie stating that the game had to be held up to clear the track of an assortment of fruit. google Gerry Britton- Mark Walters if you dont want to bellieve me.

Only an idiot would deny that there's such a thing as a racist Celtic supporter but Sanjeev Kohli thinks there are worse. He stopped supporting Rangers because of abuse of the self same Walters from his own fans if he had an off day. Everyone calls him a liar but noone offers any possible motive for why he would lie. How much longer do Celtic supporters have to carry the can for all the racial abuse Walters recieved for his entire career. Apparently the noise was deafening from start to finish. Funny that, the loudest crowd noise on the video is at 3.53 when Robrts tries to break Walker's legs. If the uploader has to qualify the video with caveats assuring that the abuse was far more widespread than it looked, then why present the video as evidence in the 1st place.

It was my first time at the the bigot pit and the sight of grown men walking past with brown paper bags filled with bananas and inflatable bananas is what nailed my feelings towards Celtic Football Club to this day. I couldn't care less about their religion, their supposed nationality, even the harbouring of paedophiles within their sordid club that's their business.
