Just wait until you're 75+, then you'll know exactly what this song means...  Time, that seems to move so slowly when you're young, accelerates exponentially when you're past 70... "Yesterday, when I was young....." Believe me, growing old is no job for the faint hearted, or a coward...... (but, it is better than the only alternative...)

As a mobile DJ for for almost 18 years, I used to use this song for the ultomate father-daughter dance. Except that I would also put the parents of each on the floor at the same time. At a time of their choosing, each couple would separate and dance with another. Having only parents, the bride & groom on the floor, you could hear a pin drop. When it was over, there was never a dry eye in the house. One of the most powerful songs ever!
