Agreed 100% but we all have to try the cheap route first to learn a lesson don,t we. It was a long fight to get these guys from Quebec to take it back, but finally after letting them send me the next model up and it also did simmilar, they did almost 1 year later finally give me back my money.The Panasonic i purchased instead has been awsome unit,will buy same again.not this chinese crap

It is the worse working piece a crap i ever owned,not only the screen not closing,but you could not see the screen images in daylight,it was way too dim even on highest setting, i bought a Panasonic for same price after returning this and its awsome,have used it for a year now not a prob.

well, after i had to fight with customer service for over 3 months to get my money back,for another $100 i bought an awsome panasonic,been a year now and its never gave me one prob.Its 10 times the unit for sure.

I have the Inovatek 722 DVD GPS, it's the worst fucking piece of shit ever.

1)I think when its too hot or cold the parts shrink or expand so it wont open.

2)The USBs aren't compatible with Ipods. Using a flash drive instead sucks ass and is difficult.

3)The bluetooth is shit, you cant even store numbers in it,

4)The LCD sides have actually started to melt away.

5)Switching between radio, input, GPS is a bitch without the remote

6) When it is sunny outside I cant even see the screen.

Honestly its to be expected with such a cheap unit. haha but we buy cheap, well because were cheap! hold out for another few months and drop 400 or something on a sicker unit.

I had this heppen on mine as well. However it was not fault to the unit. It turned out to be the installation. If the back if the unit hand or is pressed down or up to far in anyway it pinches were the cradle goes around the front of the unit and causes it to get jammed. Might be the fix for you and maybe not.
