My experience was that there was a huge variety of responses to the 'Victory'. Check the flags in the video: Hezbollah,Christian, Communist, Amal etc. Some estimates put the turnout at more than a million Lebanese; one quarter of the population. To put it in context: they'd just come through a very bloody - and unequal - onslaught killing over 1000 civilians. The VC was two fingers up to Israel. Just as New Yorkers came out after 9/11 to give two fingers to Bin Laden. I guess it's just natural.

don't be silly. I'm a jew. And I was treated very well in Lebanon. They gave me the chance to make this film. Kill any invading israeli soldiers, maybe, but learn that your best weapon is to educate yourself and know that you have comrades and brothers and sisters in every country and in every religion. And in none.

im with u steeveetee.i myself am a sunni muslim who supports hezbollah. i donot despise christians nor jews not even shiites. i do however despise the zionists who stole peoples(palis) land. i guess they learnt from their cousins brittian, australia and america how to steal land and claim it their own. actually one of our prophets came from a jewish tribe and history shows a clear and close relationship between arab christians muslims and jews
